From my new book Simplify: A high performance playbook to win the real game.
“Repeat medallists and high performers talked about less, did less and reduced more than others. Further investigation uncovered the overlapping principles behind the systems that guided their routines, approach and thinking. When asked what activity they were stopping repeat medallists were 5% of the athlete population and owned 80 per cent of the stops. They prioritised strategic reduction and simplification over addition to their programmes”.
This is a learned skill and a competitive advantage.
