Simplifying high performance.

A neuroscientist from Formula 1 told me how drivers are maxed out with input signals. Saturated. One more signal would be too much and one less not enough. They have the balance.


We recognise this missing balance when oversaturated. There is a sense that performance feels crowded with no space to think and act. The solution is usually to add more, better, different. That is motion not progress. It makes it worse.


High performers are not oversaturated. They know how to balance addition and subtraction. How is your balance?
