High performers decide. Low performers ruminate.

High performers decide and act to create their future. Low performers ruminate to understand their past. Perfect clarity and absolute motivation will never arrive. High performers know this and move forward.

Low performers are in high motion not high performance. They may be evidence focussed, but evidence aimed for perfect clarity on a past that is gone. High performers are decision focussed; they focus on enough evidence to inform the future.

For high performers action is their starting place, not private perfection.

Low performers without the habit of action ruminate. Reanalysing and rethinking the same situation and exploring what should have happened. This can feel interesting and like progress but it is only motion.

Ruminating parked. Decisions and action accelerated.

Is your day in the past or the future?
